Hi list,
Since you guys really came to the rescue when I was looking for beef tips 
recipes, I thought I'd come ask for your help again.  Now I'm wanting to learn 
how to make French toast.  I know the basic ingredients are eggs, milk, 
vanilla, sugar, and bread and of course maple syrup.  What I don't know is how 
much of these ingredients to use and how long to cook the french toast on both 
sides, and do Ip put oil in the skillet or do I just cook the toast in a dry 
heated skillet?  I need tips and tricks and measurements for someone making 
french toast for the very first time, and for one who's only making enough to 
serve one or two people, as it's just me and my husband here.  Any help from 
anyone would be really appreciated. Thanks so much and happy cooking.
