Caramel Frosting

 

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar

1/4 cup whole milk

2 cups powdered sugar, sifted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Method

 

1. Bring the butter and brown sugars in a saucepan over medium heat to a boil 
and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Add the milk and bring mixture back to a boil.

3. Remove pan from heat and stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing 
until 

frosting is smooth. 

4. Frost cooled cake immediately.
