Everyday Biscuits

2 Cups Flour
½ tsp. Salt
4 tsp. Baking Powder
½ Cup Crisco
1 Cup Milk

Mix flour, salt and baking powder together in a bowl. Cut in Crisco until
the mixture looks like corn meal. Stir in milk. Let stand for about 1
minute. Knead dough for a few times on a floured surface. Put a small amount
of flour on top of dough. Roll out and cut with a biscuit cutter or a cookie
cutter. Biscuits should be about ½ inch thick. Place biscuits on a greased
cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees F. for about 15 minutes. Yields: about 1
to ½ dozen
