Pecan butter balls

 

1 stick margarine softened

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup flour

1 cup finely chopped pecans

 

Method

 

1. With hands, mix all ingredients until well blended.

2. Form into one-inch balls.

3. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until set but not brown.

4. After cooled roll in powdered sugar.

5. Makes about 2 dozen.

 

Tip:

 

1. These do not rise so can be placed rather close together on cookie sheet
