Hi: Actually this recipe is very easy to shape with your hands and bake on a cookie sheet. Another alternative to this recipe is to substitute apple cider to the quantity of milk required and you'll have your dining guests raving how tasty they are. . . I found this out at one of my dinner parties when I went into the kitchen to place the biscuits into the oven, (something you can make at the last minute) and reaching into the refrigerator grabbing a jug I thought was milk only to discover after pouring it into the batter (I'm half French & tend to cook with feel & guesstimating, not using measuring instruments) realized I was pouring apple cider not milk. At the time I was horrified and really didn't want to serve my guests the biscuits, but its all I had at the time. Well, surprising my dinner guests couldn't stop raving about how wonderful the biscuits were and requested that I serve them at our next dinner party. . . I did say Yes that I would all though I wasn't exactly sure what I had done.
