No, I don't think the greasing of the pans had anything to do with it. My
muffins and breads just came out weird when I used them. I'm not sure how to
explain it, it just wasn't the same texture you get with other pans.

So, are you saying putting the nonstick spray on them did this, and it is 
best not to grease them from the get go?
