I have an old cake pan that I use for pancakes and such and then I have one
that I only use for cakes.

I personally wouldn't use a cake pan for anything but cakes. I don't see
why you couldn't buy another less expensive cake pan and make it just for
other things though. just my opinion.

ruin her cake pans by using it for other baking items besides cake.
