Cake Mix Cookies
1 box cake mix
1/4 to 1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
Variations (one of the following) : 1/3 c. peanut butter, 1/2 c. chopped
nuts, 1 c. raisins, or 1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
Place cake mix in bowl. Cut in shortening with a knife, add milk to make a
roll-able dough; form a ball for drop cookies. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10
minutes.
You can make these cookies from just about any kind of cake mix available -
spice, white, yellow, chocolate. For the first one you might like to begin
with a white or yellow. The variations are limitless, so have fun.
