I did a meal years ago in the Tupperware stack cooker, which was microwaved.
Ocasionally that's how I do my rice, but usually odo it on the stove. A few
times I've done an oatmeal cake in the microwave, which turns out well. At a
Pampered Chef party I was at last weekend, they did cake from a mix that way,
which I thought turned out really well. I've heard it can depend on what mix
you use. For cakes it really helps I think to have them on the carusell so tht
they get evenly done. The microwave fudge turns out well, too, and, of course,
bacon. Generally though, since there's debate on what microwaving does to the
molecular structure of food, and hence, what affect it has on the nutritional
value it has and what harm could be done to us, I don't strive to cook in the
microwave on a regular basis, as, if it's true what they say, I'm already doing
enough to myself in using the convenience of it to heat up food.
Kathy.
