If you feel an orange peel its outside is the zest. In order to prevent further unnecessary questions you remove the zest with a zester and those are easily available at Wal-Mart and K-Mart. I got the Microplane zester. It's a kind of wide claw you put on the peel of the orange then pull back and that starts stripping the zest from the orange. On Sun, 30 Jan 2011, Kathy Pingstock wrote:

Subject: [CnD] Crockpot roast recipe.

This is different from what you'd expect for a roast recipe, but I've tried
and it's delicious! Can also be used with chicken.

Cranberry Pork Roast

1 - three to four pound tenderloin or boneless pork roast

1 can of whole cranberry sauce

Zest of one orange

Juice of one orange

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1/4 tsp grated nutmeg

Sprinkle roast with salt and pepper. Place in slow cooker.

In bowl combine all other ingredients; pour over roast.

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until roast is tender.
