Hello,

In my other banana bread recipes, you beat the butter and sugar first.
Since your recipe doesn't ask for this, I was wondering if when you made
this if you first melted the butter?

Thanks, Carrie

Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

2 cups unsifted flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup ripe bananas, mashed (about 3 small)
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Lightly grease the bottom of a 9x5x2-inch loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350.

Combine first five dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add bananas,
margarine or butter, and eggs to dry mix blending well on medium speed.
Stir in small chocolate chips and walnuts. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out
clean. Cool on rack 10 minutes, then remove from pan. Cool completely.
