WHITE OR CREAM SAUCE 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. vegetable water 1/2 c. milk or cream
Blend butter and flour together over low heat. Add vegetable water and milk or cream slowly. Stir and cook until thick as heavy cream. All milk or cream may be used in place of the vegetable water.
