I can tell you how I do it, but I don't have exact measurements.
Drain the sweet potatoes and put them in a glass baking dish and mash them
with a fork. They can be a little lumpy, no problem.
In a saucepan, put about 1/2 cup milk, 2 tbs. butter, and pinches of nutmeg,
cloves, cinnamon, ginger (all dried and ground spices) and whatever else you
think you might like.
Heat mixture on the stove until butter melts, add it to the sweet potatoes
about half at a time to make sure it's not runny. When you think the
consistancy of the sweet potato mixture is good, don't add any more milk
mixture.
press marshmallows into the top of the sweet potatoes and bake at 350
degrees F for around 20 minutes.
When you touch the marshmallows with a fork, they will sound hollow, then it
is done.
Hope this helps.
There's another one for the crockpot I'll send you.

I have forgotten how to make candied sweet-potatoes from a can. Would some
helpful person reteach me? Thanks, Kerry
