I am going to try this. Thanks I didn't realize that the butter needs to be
melted. Now it makes sense. I will read it again. Gerry

Hi Gerry,
I just got a email back from Charles's sister that sent it to me about
some questions I had too.As for your question, it said to put the
ingredients, in the pan in order starting with the first ingredient then
on down to the next and etc. in the pan. So no mixing. Just starting with
putting the pecans in the 9x13 pan first then the rolls, on top of them,
then in order with the rest, sprinkling the pudding dry over the rolls,
then, drizzle the melted butter over that, covering all, then, sprinkle the
brown sugar over all. Then when you do that, just place in a cold oven to
set over night for the rolls to rise, do not cover the pan. When you wake
up the rolls should be rose up and ready to turn on the oven to 325
degree. Leave the rolls in the oven and not worry about preheating the
oven. Bake around 30 minutes till golden brown and then they will stick if
you don't slide a knife or spatula around the edges of the pan. Turn over
like it would be a pineapple up side down cake on to a platter or what
ever you want to place them on. The pecans will then be on top of the
rolls. Makes really sticky buns, but sooo good. smile try it.
Hope this will make more since and it helps.
Katie

Do we cut the butter up or mix things in any way?

Easy Pecan Rolls
1 cup chopped pecans
1 bag Rhodes frozen dinner rolls (use 20)
1 small box cook and serve butterscotch pudding (uncooked)
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
Just before going to bed, place ingredients in 9X12 ungreased pan in
order listed. Do not cover. Place in cold oven to rise overnight.
Next morning, turn on oven to 325. Do not preheat and do not remove
rolls
from oven at this time. Bake 30 minutes. Remove when golden
brown. Slide spatula or knife around the edges of the pan and then
invert on platter and serve. Delicious!
Katie, when I made this I used a few more pecans than called for.
Just enough to cover the bottom of the pan. It only took me five
minutes to put this together and they were soooo gooood. Try it.
