Hi Jerry. Welcome and hope you enjoy the list. WE're a friendly bunch and I'm sure you will find lots of nice recipes and tips and yo can ask anything you like if its cooking related of course. I am also blind since birth and understand your fears. This is why I am afraid of using the hob but I have heard you can get mits which go up the arm so you're in no danger if anything spits. I'm not sure about the microwave as mine is a talking one with big buttons and not to many of them and it comes with a tape which has instructions so its quite easy to use. I find cooking for people is what gets me more motivated I live on my own but if I can make dinner for some-one it feels like I'm giving them a kind of nurturing. I must admit I do have a bit of a soft spot for chefs and men who can cook its interesting how many people do. I even joined a dating sight for chefs and cookign enthusiasts but my add got sent to other sights so I wasn't getting any contact with the sort of people I was inte rested in. I'm in the UK not sure if there is any-one else on the list here in the Uk but email is a great way of making friends at least.
