SUGAR COOKIES
1 cup sugar 3 cups sifted flour 1 egg 1 tsp. baking soda 2 sticks margarine ¼ tsp. nutmeg Cream sugar and butter. Beat in egg. Sift flour with soda and nutmeg. Add this to sugar and butter mix. Chill. Roll out dough 1/8" thick. Cut with cookie cutter. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425 degrees for 8 minutes.
