You can use most meat loaf recipes. Just make balls instead of loaves. I also like to mix other flavored meats with the hamburger meat ... especially sausage, but ground pork, lamb or turkey work.
You can also boil meat balls. I make Mexican meatball soup. Combine the meat with minute rice, salt and pepper. Drop into soup pot. Make the broth with chopped onions, chopped carrots. Simmer for about forty minutes or until the meatballs taste done. It depends on the size of the meatballs. This is very quick and easy and Americanized. Shape into meatballs, and spray a pan with nonstick cooking spray, place meatballs on pan, and bake at 350 degrees F. for about 30 minutes.
