6 yams
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
1/3 cup sherry
2 tablespoons butter

Cook yams in boiling salted water until tender. Peel and cut in half
lengthwise. Place in a casserole one layer thick, sprinkle with sugar and
pecans; pour over orange juice, rind and sherry; dot with butter. Cover and
bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Subject: [CnD] Recipe renuest

Hi everyone,
I had a Braille cookbook in the 70's called Forum Feasts that had
a recipe for a sweet potato dish using orange juice, brown sugar,
butter and orange rind. I make it every year, but the book is
long gone and I have to guess at the exact proportions. Does
anyone have that recipe or one like it?
 Thanks for any help.
