take some flour on some wax paper or whatever and just dip the cutter into the flour as if you were going to cut a cookie with it, just a little flour will get around the cutting part of it and will make it easier for the cookie to release when you lift up the cutter. Katie

Subject: [CnD] Sep-arating Cookies

This afternoon, my younger daughter and I made gingerbread men. I was able to mix the ingredients and cut the shapes using a cookie cutter. It worked out great when the gingerbread man was in the cutter. That didn't always happen. When the imprint of the man was in the dough, my daughter had to remove the cookie.

In the future, how do you separate cookies once you cut the dough with the cutter? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,

Tom Dickhoner
