HASH BROWN CASSEROLE

2 packages frozen hash browns, thawed, the "loose" Southern style, about 32
ounces
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped onions
About 12 ounces shredded cheddar
8 ounces sour cream
1 can cream soup - mushroom, celery or chicken
1/2 to 1 cup crushed potato chips or corn flakes

Melt butter in 9- by 13-inch baking dish; mix in thawed hash browns. Mix
together the sour cream, chopped onion, cream soup and cheese. Pour over
potatoes, and blend well. Sprinkle the crushed chips evenly over the top.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 12.

"And the angel said unto them, "Fear not! For, behold, I bring you tidings of great joy, Which shall be to all people. "For unto you is born this day in the city of David A Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you: Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, Lying in
a manger.

Does anyone have a hashbrown casserole? I had one the other day at a
function that was amazing. I know it had some kind of cheese in it. It
was creamy and delicious.
