I'd really love to try this. I'll bet it's like home made ice cream that disappears as quickly as it is put into a huge cold bowl! I've heard about it all my life, but having lived most of it in Phoenix, Arizona, I haven't had the opportunity to get the main ingredient. (grin)

Subject: [CnD] time for snow cream

Hey everyone

It's that time of year. I have enjoyed snow cream since I could remember.

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

One cup sugar

One and a half cup milk

One gallon white snow( do not use yellow snow ha ha)

Directions:

Mix the vanilla, milk, and sugar together and set aside.

Go out and get the snow, usually wait till at least 3 inches has
accumulated. Take a gallon sized bowl and scrape the top 2 inches of snow,
using my hand, off of something high enough off the ground my dog cannot
reach.

Carry the snow inside, and pour the mixture around the top of the snow

Stir well.

Eat immediately, because it melts and is not as good to refreeze.

Serving size:

2

Make as much as you want because the main ingredient ,snow, is free .
