the can opener won't come on unless it is on the can lid and that is when
you press the button. it should start then.

If the batteries are still good, did you possibly put them in backwards?
I don't have one of these can openers, so am just speculating. Is there a
trigger that is activated when the can touches a specific point that

Debbie and I got one touch can opener which we haven't used in a
while. How do you use it? When we got it there wasn't a problem but no
