I have the vox 3000 and It can be used both ways either for oz. or for
grams. It has a female voice and is quite clear. I use this all the time to
separate large packages of meat and the like. This model comes with a large
plastic bowl for placing items in for weighing. Hth

Subject: [CnD] talking kitchen scales

Hi,
anyone have experience with any of the talking kitchen scales out there?
The two main ones seem to be the
Reizen Talking Kitchen Scale
and the
My Weigh VOX 3000 Talking Kitchen Scale

The vox 3000 is less expensive, but I don't seem to notice much difference
between the two.
It will be used for weighing out food we buy in bulk to hopefully have even
packages for the freezer, and for weighing out materials for making soap and
such.
They both seem to be good for 0.1 oz or 1g.
I would like to have a scale that is good for 0.01oz or 0.1g, but that might
be pretty expensive.
Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks,
Michael
