The only thing you need to concern yourself with is how sensitive is the scail to weight change. So if you have 5 grams of food on it will it notice one more or less. Some of the scales only change in 5 gram increments. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Baldwin" <[email protected]>

Subject: [CnD] talking kitchen scales

Hi,
anyone have experience with any of the talking kitchen scales out there?
The two main ones seem to be the
Reizen Talking Kitchen Scale
and the
My Weigh VOX 3000 Talking Kitchen Scale

The vox 3000 is less expensive, but I don't seem to notice much difference
between the two.
It will be used for weighing out food we buy in bulk to hopefully have even packages for the freezer, and for weighing out materials for making soap and
such.
They both seem to be good for 0.1 oz or 1g.
I would like to have a scale that is good for 0.01oz or 0.1g, but that might
be pretty expensive.
Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks,
Michael
