THE REAL NAME OF STAR FRUIT IS CAREMBOLLA FRUIT.
WHEN SLICED, IT LOOKS LIKE A STAR.
THIS GROWS IN ST CROIX, US VIRGIN ISLANDS. I HAVE PICKED AND EATEN ALONG THE ROADSIED WHILE VACATIONING IN ST CROIX.

Subject: [CnD] star fruit

Hi folks,

I have just been given a huge bag of star fruit...Frankly, I have no idea
what to do with them...Do you just eat them?...And, if so, do you have to
peal them first...Or do you cook with them?...I know this might sound kind
of weird, but I'd never even seen them till I moved to FL...Thanks for any
info anyone can give me

Kimberly
