Hi all, My mother and I made a hotmilk cake for her to take to a potluck tonight. It didn't turn out too great for several reasons, but I wanted to ask about something that came up. Out of eight eggs we used, seven had double yolks. Should we have used only four of these double-yolked eggs instead of all eight, since the amount of the magical egg stuff the cake needs would have been doubled per egg? I hope this made some sense.
