I can't remember exactly what I used to do. Three tablespoons of oil
doesn't sound like much, but it's spread out over a lot of popcorn when it's
all done. Start with a half teaspoon. It you find that's to light, next
time try a whole teaspoon, etc.

One way is to add seasonings of your choice to the oil in the poppers
that have the oil containers in them. I've played with powdered cheese;
garlic powder; and I'm thinking one could use things like Ranch dressing
powder.
