In short, yes, got this one off a friend's Facebook on one of the all too
rare times I'm over there.

Title: Facebook Shepherd's Pie
 Categories: Casserole, One-dish, Irish
   Servings: 6

      2 lb ground beef
      1 pk Brown gravy mix
      1 md onion, diced
      1 tb garlic, minced
     1½ c mixed vegetables
      6 c mashed potatoes
      1 c shredded sharp cheddar

Preheat oven to 350°. Chop onion and mince garlic. Add ground beef and
brown, cooking until onion is soft. In a large baking dish cover the bottom
with the meat mixture, then add a layer of the mixed vegetables, covering
the entire thing with the mashed potatoes. Bake for 30 minutes. Garnish with
the cheese.
Options: Use garlic mashed potatoes for the topping instead of regular ones.
Add mushrooms to the meat mixture, either canned ones before putting into
the baking dish or sliced fresh ones before cooking the meat. Chives also
make a good garnish, especially if you make the potatoes with sour cream
instead of milk.

Subject: [CnD] Beef shepherds pie request

Hi all: I'm wondering if anyone would be able to share a recipe for a beef
shepherds pie? I specify beef being as I'm pretty sure a traditional one is
made with lamb.
Thanks in advance.
-Johnny
