Hi Nancy, I don't know the amount of bakingsoda to use in such a case, but there's a wonderful cleaner that I learned about some time back that cleans the most stubborn of pans. It is called Bar Keeper's Friend. It comes in both powder and liquid forms and can be found at both Target and Bed Bath And Beyond. I'm sure it's probably at Walmart and other such stores as well, but I know about those two for sure! Hope this helps!
