You could soak the pan with one of those fabric softener sheets, and later,
scrub it clean! I'd just take some baking soda and put it into the pot with
boiling water and either let it boil for five or so minutes, then cool and
scour, or put boiling water with some soda in the pot and let it set until
the water has cooled, and clean it.
