I use an ice cream scoop to fill my muffin pans, or you can also use a quarter cup. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alex Hall" <[email protected]>

It's not a big deal. Filling them more or less will only make bigger or smaller muffins, it won't affect the bake time much at all. I usually use a measuring cup I know will give me the size I want; I find a 1/3 cup does well for the tins we have here, and I level it with a knife before pouring. The first time you make them, try a measuring cup and see how big they turn out; move up a size if you want a bigger muffin. Hope this helps. Hi, everyone,

Marilyn’s muffin recipe just jogged my memory about a question I’ve been
meaning to ask: how to get an appropriate measure for filling muffin cups.
Some recipes say to fill ½ full and others 2/3 full, and I know so much
depends on the size of the muffin cups. I’ve been shying away from making
muffins because I haven’t been clear on how to figure this. Can someone
help? Thanks.

Deb
