Crock Pot Swiss Steak

 

1 1/2 pounds round steak

2 T. flour

Salt and pepper to taste

1 medium onion, sliced

1 carrot, chopped

1 small stalk celery, chopped

1 jar mushrooms, sliced

1 green pepper, chopped

1 15-oz. can tomato sauce

 

Directions:

 

1. Cut round steak into serving size pieces.

2. Season flour with salt and pepper.

3. Dredge meat in the seasoned flour.

4. Place onions in bottome of crock-pot. 

5. Add meat.

6. Top with carrots, celery, mushrooms and green peppers.

7. Cover with tomato sauce.

8. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high, 3 to 5 hours.
