Butterscotch Brownies
1/3 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 egg ¼ tsp salt ¾ cup flour 1 tsp baking powder ½ tsp vanilla ½ cup chopped nuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter, add other ingredients. Stir well; spread into buttered 7 by 7-inch square pan, and bake for 25 minutes. Spread with powdered sugar while warm.
