If you send the notetaker in for repair, maybe you sculd send along something that they could transfer your files onto and you could put them back later. I've had to do that.

If you have an iOS device, pepperplate.com is great because it has an app that syncs with the website. There are other, similar services, but that's the only one I've tried so far.
