Rather than the same time for all cookies, I would go with the recipe
recommendations. Some take 7 to 10 minutes, while others take 10 to 15, or
even longer, depending on the size and ingredients.

Then I time them.
I take the sheet out and then just touch them with my fingers very
lightly.
If they are firm and not squishy. then they aren't done.
