Here's a recipe I got from a friend -- she's the author of it, that makes
wonderful Cornish game hens. I've made this recipe myself, and it works very
well.
---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v7.07
Title: Game Hens fit for a Duchess
Categories: Poultry, Main Dish
Servings: 2
2sm game hens
2 md onions
2 lg lemons
1 ea stick of butter
1 tb minced or chopped garlic
Sprinkle of Rosemary
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 ea roasting bag
Preheat oven to 350°.
Put 1/4 of an onion up each hen's butt. Cover hens with butter, softened,
then apply garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, and then squeeze lemon juice on
them. Put them in a roasting bag with another cut up onion and the rest of
the cut up one, along with the rest of the butter and the lemon halves.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until done.
Option: For a Greek flavor use Cavender's Greek seasoning instead of salt
and pepper

Hi While we are talking about cooking a whole chicken, I was wondering how
long I should cook two Cornish hens. I will do them in the oven or if anyone
has tried them in a crock pot I would take that recipe also. Thank you.
