I like tried and true recipes, but for us who collect recipes, and
sometimes, just to get new ideas, we might post something we saw in a
newspaper, or got on Internet, and not had time yet to prepare it! As I get
older, and have fewer to cook meals for at home, I often just read things
for new ideas, and if the thing sounds easy enough, I will share with the
lists I sub to!

I disagree with that. I don't think there is anything wrong with trying new 
recipes. Not everyone goes internet browsing.
