Oat meal my way.
Today I put 1 1/2 cups of water in a sauce pan, added some raisin, dried
cranberries, and prunes. Got the water boiling as I pureed about 1/2 cup of
strawberries, and 1/2 cup of blueberries. Which I added a package of Stevia
to. In when the oatmeal, and not that pre-cooked stuff, but good old fashion
oatmeal. I than turn off the heat and stirred everything until the oat meal
was the way I like it. Cooked but yet firm. Than I added the pureed berries,
and some slivered almond and we had a healthy breakfast to start the day.
Later on, for Valentine Day, I will be fixing rib eye steaks, broccoli, and
baked sweet potatoes, with a leafy side salad. Was going to have a sirloin
steak, but they didn't suit my wife as she looked over the meat counter.
