In a skillet, brown well: 2 lb. pork spareribs, cut into serving sized pieces 2 TB vegetable oil Brown ribs in a skillet in oil. Transfer to crock pot/slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW heat setting for 4 to 6 hours or until tender.
