One reason I thank God I can cook is to be able to make something I couldn't
get otherwise: Like, Schwans unfortunately hasn't had the stuffed twice-baked
potatos I really like, a real natural with steak, etc, but I was told they
weren't selling, so they made room on the truck for other items. I used to be
able to get them through Peapod, but no more there either; Safeway on-line
never had them. I know I can get them from Omaha Steaks and probably Impromptu
Gourmet, but my freezer atop the fridge is rather full, so couldn't get enough
other stuff to justify an order and the shipping, so, at times now I've been
making my own twice-baked potatos. They're not as pretty on top as the Omaha
Steaks or Schwans ones, but at least I can have them, and I know what went in
them.
