Easy Brownies 02
1 1/2 sticks melted margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup powdered cocoa
1 cup chopped nuts
Combine margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla and stir until well blended.
Dump in flour and cocoa and stir until well blended. Add nuts and stir until
well distributed. Pour into lightly greased 8 by 8 by 2 inch pan. Bake in
preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes, or until sides of brownies start to
pull away from pan.

Banana Pudding Dessert
1 (3 ounce) package banana pudding
1 (12 ounce) box vanilla wafers
4 to 6 bananas, sliced
Prepare pudding according to package directions. Make a cookie crust by
placing whole vanilla wafers in bottom and along sides of a glass dish. Make
layers of pudding, sliced bananas and wafers. Repeat layers until all
ingredients have been used. Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours to blend flavors.

Pineapple Strawberry Shortcake
1 package Betty Crocker Pineapple Upside Down Cake Mix
1 package (16 ounces) frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
1 cup chilled whipping cream
Grease and flour baking pan, 8 by 8 by 2 or 9 by 9 by 2 inches. Prepare
cake mix as directed in step 2 on package, except add 1/2 cup of the topping
mix to dry mix; reserve remaining topping mix. Pour batter into pan. Bake
35 to 40 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool. Mix pineapple, from cake mix package, and strawberries. Cut cake into
squares; split squares horizontally. In chilled bowl, beat whipping cream
and the reserved topping until stiff. Fill and top squares with fruit
mixture; garnish with whipped cream.
Makes 9 servings.
