CROCK POT BREAD PUDDING 8 slices white bread, cubed 1/4 c. melted butter 2 eggs, beaten 2 c. milk 1/4 c. sugar 1 c. golden raisins 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- --SAUCE:-- 3/4 c. brown sugar 2 tbsp. butter 1 c. water 1 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. flour (rounded) Place bread cubes in a well greased crock pot. In a bowl mix sugar, melted butter, well beaten eggs and milk. Beat until smooth. Stir in raisins and nutmeg. Pour over cubes and mix lightly. Cook on high for 1 hour. Turn to slow for 3 to 4 hours or bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cook sauce and pour over pudding just before serving.
