Hi every one,
I have this same recipe under a different name: Chocolate Fudge Candy Cookies.  
My recipe calls for 1-1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted.  I have made 
it several times.  They are not supposed to rise, but do spread a small amount 
while in the oven.  The texture of the cookie is similar to that of brownies.

One thing you absolutely must do is line the cookie sheets with foil or 
parchment, or the cookies will stick.  Let them cool on the foil before you 
peel them gently away from the foil to store them.
