If you have a meat smoker, try this:

Go to the store and get either Eckridge or Hilshire smoked sausages.  Get the 
smoker going, and put them in there, whole, and smoke them for about 45 minutes 
to an hour.  If you have a fish basket or something similar, pour a whole bunch 
of those Little Smokies into it and smoke them for the same length of time.  
Now, you've really got some smoked sausages.  I mean, really smoked!
