Nancy, you can do it either way.  I make hamburger patties with raw
meat I buy at the store, wrap them individually, then freeze them.
When I want one, it's already prepared, has the seasonings, bell
pepper and onion and barbecue sauce already in it.  I just have to
cook it.

I could cook the patties, then freeze them, but the taste and the
texture isn't quite right for me.  Experiment, and see what suits you
best.
