Hi, Alice. thanks for this. Okay, next silly question: Do I peel the
orange first or not? I like orange juice and orange flavored things, but
just eating an orange isn't my cup of tea, so if I can salvage it for
someone who likes them, that would be all the better.

Hi, Lisa and every one,
If you don't have a special tool for zesting, the grater is the thing to
use. On a box grater use the side for fine grating. My mom used to use a
vegetable brush to get all the zest out of the grater onto the wax paper
before measuring it.
