Julie, I have not read through all these responses.  I just want to
tell you that I was fascinated with your history of putting these
recipe books together.  You mentioned cookies you haven't been able to
find in the U.S. that are like what your grandmother used to make.  I
know what you mean: I had a relative who made some incredibly
wonderful cookies, (she was from Holland), and I've never find
anything like them.  Sad to say, no one in the family got her recipes,
so they are lost to us forever.

I think it's great you are doing this and are willing to share with others.
