I like my one cup Keurig, too. I live alone and one cup at a time is good for me. I have a larger, older coffee maker for times when others are here and we all want coffee. Now regarding the disposal of coffee grounds: I save mine in a plastic air tight container, as well as egg shells, and give them to my friends who grow roses. Rose bushes love coffee grounds and egg shells. The former has acids they like and the latter provide calcium for them.

I store these in plastic containers that have contained things from the grocery store and I don't want them anymore. THen the rose growers can keep them until they're ready to dig in their rose bushes.

Subject: [CnD] Reasons Why I Like the Keurig

I like the Keurig (one cup coffee maker) because it's always fresh, no stale coffee, no measuring, can drink tea, cocoa, hot apple cider, lemonade and not always just coffee. Just to let you know also, you're not supposed to put coffee grounds in the garbage disposal. I had some reputable person from Sears to tell me never to do that.
