I have not tried these, but would like to do so. This is a recipe that was previously posted to this list:
Ingredients: 30 chicken wings (about 5 lb.) 1/4 cup of flour 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 6 Tablespoons of butter 6 Tablespoons of Louisiana red hot sauce Note: I like them really hot, so I would double the pepper and then add 1/2 teaspoon of Spontaneous Combustion. This is a very hot sauce, used for cooking purposes. You can find it at www.thehotsaucestore.com Method: 1. Cut off small tip from each wing and discard. 2. Cut each wing into 2 pieces. 3. Wash and pat dry. 4. Combine flour, salt and pepper and place in a paper bag. 5. Dredge wings, a few at a time, in the flour mixture. 6. Deep fry wings, about one third at a time until they are golden brown and crisp. 7. Drain well. 8. In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in hot sauce. 9. Pour mixture over chicken wings; cover and shake until evenly coated. The final step is the most important: 10. Eat your heart out! --- Be positive! When it comes to being defeated, if you think you're finished, you! really! are! finished! _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
