The rocker type I am familiar, has four setting. The way you set the gauge is the the pressure you have. It is like a weight you put over the pressure hole. The weight has four holes in it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Deatherage via Cookinginthedark" <[email protected]>

Subject: [CnD] using a pressure cooker

Hello,
The rocker type of gages is that the type that the more pressure the noiseer it gets? Also, the presto, is that an electric pressure cooker or is that one that sets on top of the stove? I was wondering if an electric one would be easier to use than one that sets on the stove? I have heard about some that serve as not only, a pressure cooker, but, also, as a slow cooker. I was wondering if the more it does, the more difficult to operate it would be?
Thanks in advance for everyones help.
